This standalone cold plunge chiller works with most existing cold plunge tubs, ice bath tubs, stock tanks, barrels and DIY tubs—including tubs purchased from another company—provided the water volume and inlet and outlet connections are compatible or can be adapted.

The setup for this chiller is designed to be very simple and does not require additional plumbing or special wiring. The GFCI plug connects directly to a 120V socket/outlet, and the hoses screw into cold tub fittings.

Simple Setup Process:
 

1. Place the chiller on a stable, level surface at least 1 meter away and with proper ventilation.
2. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses to your tub.
3. Fill the tub and prime the water line.
4. Plug the 120 V GFCI-protected power cord into a suitable outlet.
5. Turn on the chiller and let the pump prime. 
6. Set your target temperature using the controls or app.

The Elite 1 HP Chiller and Heater is designed to cool (or heat) your water efficiently while supporting automatic sanitization.

While average cooling times are listed below, actual cooling time depends on starting water temperature, water volume, outdoor or room temperature, tub insulation, sun exposure, cover use, and chiller ventilation.

• 300 L from 20°C to 3°C ≈  3.7 hours

Filtration and Ozone Sanitization

The built-in ozone system and filter help support cleaner water and easier maintenance. However, ozone and filtration do not eliminate the need for regular water care. You should still monitor water quality, clean or replace filters as needed, and use appropriate sanitizer or maintenance products based on your setup and usage.

These chillers are compatible with the addition of in-line automatic sanitization systems.

Yes. It can work with many third-party and DIY cold plunge tubs, provided the tub’s water volume and connections are compatible.


What is the difference between the 0.8 HP, 1.0 HP, and 1.5HP chillers

The main difference between the chillers is the cooling capacity and pump strength (horse power). Larger tubs, especially those with more frequent usage, require different horsepower.

Can I leave the chiller outside year-round?

This chiller can be left outside year-round. However, you should shield your chiller from direct rainfall, dust, and debris if you want to extend its lifespan. Also, the chiller should be drained and not used when ambient temperatures drop to 0°C / 32°F

This chiller is IPX4 rated, which means it is splash/rain-resistant, so it can be left outside when not in use. However, you should shield your chiller from direct rainfall, dust, and debris, which will extend its lifespan.
